Terms of Service
Welcome to Experience Real Costa Rica. By engaging with our website and our customized travel design, transportation, or retreat planning services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Custom Travel Design & Planning
Our travel design process begins with an initial consultation and the submission of a planning form. To initiate the itinerary design phase, a non-refundable $50 planning investment is required. This amount will be credited toward your final selected itinerary package. All travel proposals are subject to the availability of accommodations and experiences at the time of final booking.
2. Payment & Cancellations
Due to the highly customized nature of our services, full payment schedules and cancellation policies will be uniquely outlined in each client's finalized travel proposal. Cancellation policies for specific accommodations, private transportation, and external tours are dictated by our third-party local partners. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
3. Liability and Third-Party Providers
Experience Real Costa Rica acts as a specialized travel coordinator and planner. While we meticulously vet and partner with trusted local professionals, boutique hotels, and licensed transportation services, we are acting as an intermediary. Therefore, Experience Real Costa Rica is not directly liable for cancellations, delays, personal injuries, or property damage caused by third-party operators, weather conditions, or unforeseen events beyond our control.
4. Code of Conduct
For curated retreats, hosted experiences, and private transportation, safety and respect are our top priorities. All participants must follow the guidance of local drivers and guides. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a planned activity without refund for any individual or group that endangers safety or behaves inappropriately towards local staff or the environment.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from the use of our services or website will be subject to the jurisdiction of Costa Rican courts.
